Farmyard Friends
Here at Farmyard Friends we are very proud of our varied outdoor facilities which we access throughout each day. Children are asked to provide suitable footwear and clothing to ensure we can play and explore these areas whatever the weather.
Our outdoor areas consist of:
An extensive outdoor play area consisting of safety tarmac, all weather astro turf and a large outdoor fully equipped classroom. Resources are rotated and include the following: PE Trolley, Bikes, Cars, Scooters, Outdoor Construction, Book area, Water wall, Outdoor kitchen, gardening growing area, play house, mark making and much more.
The enclosed paddock, which is accessed directly from our pre school provides opportunities for interactions with lambs in the spring and summer months, a natural environment to explore, tyres, bales and bridges and lots of space to let off steam.
Farm and village walks to visit the ducks, lambs,cows, pigs and ponies.
Making the most of the local community, we are fortunate to have lovely surroundings which we access regularly on foot and with the turtle bus. These include the beach, a local duck pond and nature walks in the village.
